Parents in Dambatta Local Government have been urged to ensure daily attendance to schools by their wards.

 

The Education Secretary of Dambatta Local Education Authority,Malam Sunusi Tijjani Khalifa stated this during an unscheduled visit to some primary schools in the area.

Malam Sunusi Tijjani said considering the government huge investment in education and the policy of the State government of free and compulsory education to children in Kano State it has become highly imperative for the parents in the area to make sure that daily attendance to schools by their children is compulsory for the betterment of the area.

He further pointed out “that a society can only be developed when that society is fully educated.”

Malam Sunusi also revealed that such unscheduled visitations would be of continues basis with the aim of boosting the morale of the teachers for better productivity and as well to gingered parents on their responsibilities.

He then saluted the teachers for putting their very best in imparting knowledge to the pupils in the area.

In their separate comments some of the teachers whom the education Secretary visited their schools expressed delight with the visitation saying that such unscheduled visit always reawakened them on their responsibilities and commended the Education Secretary for his utmost concern towards educational advancement in the area
