The Chairman House Committee on Higher Education Abdulhamid Abdul made the disclosure during a visit with the members of the committee to AMINU Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies.
He said the purpose of the visit was to ascertain the level of progress made so far.
On his part, the provost of the College,Prof Balarabe Abubakar Jakada said the institution received intervention from individuals and organizations.
The committee was also at Kano State polytechnic were they commended the institution for the giant stride in the area’s of infrastructure development.
The Acting Rector Dr Muhammad Umar Kibiya said the school is first higher institution established by the state government.
He said the school has six campuses, and Dr Muhammad also more infrastructural development are on the pipeline for the improvement of teaching and learning.
